Some of you stated in the registration form, that they have difficulties
to pay the registration fee, and will contact the us by e-mail. Please,
do so as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee waivers for participants
who do not present a talk.

For accommodation, we made an agreement with the hotel Plaza Mayor:

They offered us the following discounted room rates (with breakfast
included):
Single apartment: R$ 209,00+5%ISS
Double: R$ 229,00+5%ISS
Staying in a double room is much cheaper per person than in a single
room, and most of you have agreed to share a room. We would like to
thank you for that! It will help a lot to accomodate more participants.
Apart from the breakfast buffet, they offer wireless internet, business
center, free use of their leisure area, gym and games room.
It is about a 30 minutes walk from the UFABC, but we will most probably
be able to use a university van to bring us there in the morning and
back in the late afternoon*.
The Plaza Mayor is close to the city centre and to the Rua das
Figueiras, a street with a share of bars, where we can have diner and
continue discussions started during the day.
We strongly recommend staying in this hotel, which will make it easier
to get to the UFABC and back together, and interact outside conference
hours.
Please, inform us as soon as possible, if you do not want to stay in the
Plaza Mayor, so we can cancel the pre-reservations we made without extra
cost. The easiest way is by filling out the second google form (link at
the end of this announcement).

*In order to book the van, I have to inform the document information of
the passengers: In case of brazilians, RG, issuing body, and expiry
date; For non-brazilians, nationality, passport number, and expiry date.

For lunch, there are a few options in the vicinity of the UFABC, among
them the student restaurant on campus, which is one of the cheapest
options.

We are organising a trip to a nice part of town called Paranapiacaba on
Thursday afternoon. The cost of this trip will be divided among those
who participate. It will probably not be very high.
At the end of the same day we will have the conference diner, in a
restaurant to be defined.
