Chemical abundances and mixing in stars in the Milky Way and its satellites, ESO/Arcetri Conference, ed. S. Randich, L. Pasquini, Springer, 62-63 (2006)

Abundance gradients and their variations constitute one of the main constraints of chemical evolution models for the Galaxy. The time evolution of the gradients, in particular, is essential to distinguish between models involving different physical processes and time scales. In the present work, we compare the results obtained from PN with recent determinations from open clusters and cepheid variable stars.
