Local Travel between IAG-USP and São Paulo City
IAG-USP is located in the Main Campus of Universidade de São Paulo (USP), about 15 km from São Paulo city center. The IAG-USP website's link on "How to get to IAG" can be found here.
São Paulo is well connected by its Underground Metro and Bus services. The Metro Network Map can be found at this link. The Metro station nearest to the USP campus is Butantã (Line 4 - Yellow), located at ~3.7 km from IAG-USP building.
There are Buses which circulate through the USP campus, connecting IAG-USP to various parts of São Paulo city. Especially, there are 2 bus lines which depart from Butantã metro station's neighboring bus terminal, and transport passengers through the USP campus. The route map of these circular buses can be found at this link.
- 8012-10 : Circular 1 : Metro Butantã - Cidade Universitária
- 8022-10 : Circular 2 : Metro Butantã - Cidade Universitária
Single tickets (Bilhete Único) for the Metro/Bus costs 3.80 BRL one way. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket counters in Metro stations. The same tickets can be used on Buses, where it is also possible to give the fare on board by cash.

Air Travel to São Paulo and Transportation
There are two airports in São Paulo.
- Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) is situated ~45 km away from IAG-USP, where most international flights arrive.
- Congonhas Airport (CGH) is located at ~18 km from IAG-USP, where a few (mostly national) flights arrive.
Taxis, buses and car-rental companies are available outside the terminal in both the airports. The Airport Bus Service offers regular buses (which are less expensive than transportation by taxi) to the city center of São Paulo and some nearby hotels.
